MOD - 10:00 at costa (9:30 for drinking !)

Well you have all had a nice quiet time whilst I have been away but I AM BACK next Sunday and here is the route .I have put Horton/Little Sodbury hills in but if we have new riders or old slow gits like me I can take out the loop and go round the bottom of Horton and then re join the young bloods.
Horton with Marshfield bacon

Or for those not logged in http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/134198231

I'm in, might have to miss out on the cake stop (I know that's blasphemy in these parts), to get me back in time for the cornish egg chasers.

Firstly I have booked our table for The cake stop.
You will be pleased to know that the new toilet is being worked on when i popped in today.
The weather is looking good for the weekend (What makes then think they know?) But any way it looks like we might get a good turn out.
I have had a lot of new applicants this last week so I might break us up into two groups that is if i can find someone to lead the faster route. As you know my forte is sprinting so I will have to leave the hills to someone else whilst I take charge of the more sedate members.
Also it means that when Gary stops for his puncture we can sweep him up as we come along. Very Happy
So Darren/Martin/Nick any of you feel like it please ensure you have the route downloaded.
Ta.
Oh by the way I now have a Argos/Shimano works top so watch out on the sprints.

Well I am not the greatest hill climber (yet) and I haven't done over 40 miles this year so I will happily go with a second slower group.

Need more fitness...

We have been corresponding for some time. If he ever gets to check his spam box he will find details of the route in there.

I'm flattered that you put me in the faster group Surprised It was m'boy Scottie who had an unscheduled release of pressure last Sunday ! I'm just his personal domestique and support crew. I put a brand spanking new never been repaired tube in that day, it didn't stay that way for long as he turned up on my doorstep on Monday, the victim of another UROP that he picked up in his back wheel on his way home from college.

Won't you look smart in your new Argos/Shimano jersey ! I was thinking of getting a U S Postal Service jersey that's going cheap - would that be cool ? Laughing

To paraphrase... "Repair a man's puncture and you help him for a day. Teach a man to repair a puncture and you help him for a lifetime" or he could just be lazy Wink

"I'm flattered that you put me in the faster group ".... Don't be : the very clear inference was that you wouldn't be there for long .

I must've read it wrong, I thought the inference was that I would get swept up by the slower group because I was bound to get a puncture.
