I was going to decide in the morning which ride to do but as it's a different start time, can you tell me who's riding the long route so I can guesstimate whether I'll be able to keep up ? Failing that I'll be whimping out and doing the whimps ride.....

Just me at this rate Wink

I'm up for the long one but I can't be out all day either so if it's looking like a late one in the afternoon I'll peel off if that's ok?

I have no idea what the plan is but an average of 14mph and an hour lunch stop setting off at 9:30am would be back before 4pm so that seems pretty reasonable at a rough guess.

Seems a pretty good estimate.I did the Jack and Grace last week and we were slow as we had a man with no legs who we had to get home.We still did the 69 miles and were back about 3,30 with a 09.00 start.

Ride it at whatever pace you like Julia. No-one gets left behind.

I have had a stinking cold all week, still bunged up so I am not going to be racing anywhere. Typing this has made me out of breath Wink
