Please don't download Marks link onto a 705 as it will not give you turn by turn instructions. Sad It's fine on an 800 though.

PS we are still looking for a ride leader lot of shouting been going on but no one has put their hand up.

Haha I can try but I should let you know that even with the garmin I got lost today and ended up hitting hills I hadn't expected. Recalculation now truly turned off (evil option). I'd also like to change the route map colour so it's clearer but don't think you can.

If it's working I would leave it alone. Very Happy

Just been down to warn the Black shed we are coming to eat them out of house and home tomorrow.
They did ask if you could possibly not all turn up with £20 notes as change can be a problem on a Sunday.

I would recommend the 5 items Breakfast where for 3.99 you pick any five from the list
Ie
Egg
Bacon
Sausage
Beans
Black pudding
Mushrooms
Toast
Fried Bread
Tea
Coffee
etc.
They also have cake etc. Mind you the BIG BREAKFAST is rather good value but you do have to ride home

Will be at Tesco for the 3rd week in a row, this slowly becoming a habit.

Weather looks good, so it could be shorts and sunglasses.

Very Happy

Hi Adam, I can help you with that. Last year Scott affiliated the club to the CTC and I look after the individual memberships. As NBCC is affiliated we get a discounted membership for individual members which is £15. All I need from you is your full name, address, email address, date of birth and of course £15. If you would like me to sort this for you then pm me your details and hand over the money!

Can you not just press and hold a field that you don't want and then select cadence? Or is that an 800 feature?

So who said the 810 was rubbish? All coming together nicely now, it's just the instructions are rubbish. You need years of experience or access to a club with years of experience!! Laughing

Good point. I didn't know you could change the map colour until John posted either!

All fields can be changed 'on the hoof' the same way just press the field until changes colour and go to what ever you want.

Some times the actual field you want is within a different one for example if you want 'distance to next' ie how far to next junction then this within Navigation

Not sure if the 810 is the same but if you have a course set up and you touch the top of the screen then a list of turns comes up.

To be fair I don't touch it whilst I'm on the ride just in case it stops working!

Bloody bike problems! Andy spent two and half hours this afternoon trying to sort out my gears, then the bike shop spent a further two hours with no result and having to leave the bike at the shop for another technician to look at it tomorrow. So unfortunately I have no bike and cannot ride, so everybody, I hope the weather is good and you have a great ride.
Thanks to Andy for being patient with my steed today and hope to be out next week.

It's ok folks. It wasn't my fault that it doesn't work! Laughing

Knew something wasn't right, so checked and tweaked the mech hanger, but it still didn't line up, so it looked like the mech was bent. Bike tried everything too including replacing the rear mech, and gear cable, and they think it may be the frame out of alignment. Shocked

I hope you get it sorted swiftly mate, so as not to miss any other rides.
