Fifty miles with a lump!http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2878779
Well as i said elsewhere i was going to make you all suffer with some nasty hills next week but due to the present unseasonable weather i thought this might be a bit more user friendly.Only one real  lump but as it's only Wotton it shouldn't cause and problems.
Last time we went to the Black Shed it got a bit busy so I am talking to Sam the owner to try and work out a deal of tea/coffee and a sandwich similar to what we do  at Wotton. Hopefully it will stop the queues and we can spend more time feeding the ducks and dangling our toes in the water.

There are about 15/20 regular riders who ride every Sunday so they very rarely post to say they are coming but we know they'll there (including myself). In the last 6 months I think the lowest turnout I've seen for a Sunday ride is about 15/16 and that was during the winter as well.

There will be another opportunity for people to collect their kit as I'll bring the box down to Bradley Stoke at the end of the ride. If you have kit to collect and are not doing the ride perhaps you can be at Bradley Stoke around 1.30ish to 2pm.

That leaves plenty of time to get home and watch the finale to the TdF!

You know how I moaned the whole ride that something was wrong with my bike?! Discovered what it was when I couldn't use low gears on the hill between thornbury and alveston. My chain has stretched!
