PostSubject: OUR FIRST SOUP RIDE!   Sun Dec 01, 2013 5:19 pm

Well we have been looking forward to it and it's here next Sunday.
Our first Soup run.
The route will be same as the cake ride.Food will be served in the cricket pavilion at Rockhampton just round the corner from the cake stop. I will find the gps for the route and post it later when I wake up.
The ladies will be all ready for us from about 12.00/12.30 with Soup, Beans on toast and cake and tea.
It would be really wonderful if we could get a bumper turn out as they have gone out of their way to set this up for us so 40 members would be wonderful.
Even if you can't ride then PLEASE try and get their even if you have to drive just to show our support to these wonderful people who are prepared to give up their Sunday just so we can eat cake and drink tea.Very Happy

PS all proceeds will be going to charity.

This is the cake ride route with loop which we can either leave in or miss out according to how we feel.
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3437163 the Pavilion is at about mile 24 1/4 If you zoom in on the route you will see where it says Rockhampton that's more or less where it is.
