Yep Ton Ton Paul has worked on this one and a few of went and tried it out a couple of weeks ago.

Normal start time place BUT for those that want to why not join in at the Severn Bridge. You can park in Passage road and jump on as we go past. This does make sanse for those who dont fancy the clamber back up into Bristol.

We have found a cafe called Sea Walls cafe and Wendy the owner is going to cook Bacon Baguette for us much like we have at Wotton.
So as this might be your last chance to top those 2013 miles up book now with your spouse.

Most of this is flat but there are one or two inevitable small bumps to get there.
This has Bristol added;

There is a little bit of unmade road but it's in better nick than some of the tarmac we ride on.

Starting from the Aust services roundabout ( 10:30 ish ) takes distance to about 45 miles and halves the climbing, better be gentle with those who have over indulged !
I will post up location for anyone not sure where to park & meet.

I guess you're looking at parking in Brightsides car park, so I will say park as far from the building as possible and hope the gypsies aren't there.

Should be out for this provided the weather isn't too bad.

Any of these "unmade" roads likely to be under water Paul? I only ask because of the amount of flooded roads covered in rocks, trees, mud and leaves i have come across in the last few days and after having an epic today i don't really fancy another one.

Ok right I have been on the 'phone to various people (Thanks Dave and Sue) and I have tracked down a pub in Magor that will cater for us as a special deal.

http://www.thegoldenlionmagor.co.uk/

I have spoken to the manager and the chef and have come to a deal of a Bacon Ciabatta and tea/coffee for an all in price.
I need to ring them in the morning with numbers etc and any special requests but it all looks good.
Not many chances left  to get your 2013 mileage up so come along and get some easy miles in.

I too will contact Wendy with our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Revised route with detour for the replacement stop, at 39.8 miles.

http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3828627

The unmade road should be fine. Like all the roads round there it is raised up and well drained.

Forecast for tomorrow is cold but dry and not too windy. Possibly even a bit of sunshine.

Anyone meeting at Aust, please post up so we know who to look out for. There's lovely.

Put out a request for help Libby then stand back as the lads beat a furrow to your door. Very Happy
