Yep Hard and hilly but oh so nice.
Over the bridge up the hills down to Tintern tea and cake at the Old Station back up the hill and back to Chepstow.
This ride normally breaks into two groups as the young bloods poke on and leave us mere mortals to climb at our own pace.

I will do my normal trick of meeting you all at the start then driving the van to Passage rd.and meeting you there then if anyone blows I can give them a lift back.
If you want to join in at the bridge then thats not a problem just try to let us know so we can keep an eye out for you.

PostSubject: How slow can you go?   Sun May 11, 2014 8:30 pm

Thanks for sticking with me today, and sorry for being a slow coach. Hoping to improve :-)
In two minds about coming next Sunday - much as I'd like to, it may be a bit too much climbing for me yet and I'm not sure any of you want to go THAT slowly!!!
I'll have a think and if not I'll be back soon!
Kate

It's the black rat challenge on Sunday - could be busy over the bridge.

"Meet" any time after 9.30 am. The flag drops at 10 am so any later than this and there's a good chance we'll be gone. Not a problem if you've got a Garmin (other inferior gps devices are available) but you'd be playing catchup then.

I was hoping to ride to Cromhall today and Tintern tomorrow but forces may conspire to stop me.  Sad  I've got a flu-type bug but if I make a miraculous recovery overnight, I'll see you either at Costa or the bridge. Any idea what time you're likely to be at the bridge?

Ta,

Chrissie
