I have just spoken to Ton Ton Paul and he has sorted out next Sundays ride.Seems the ratbag has us climbing up Wentwood forest  Sad We then drop down to the Sea Wall cafe out side Newport and a nice flat fast return.
Usual start time 10.00 usual start place Bradley Stoke BUT with the option of meeting up at the Severn Bridge.Park in Passage road and join in there.
Route to follow he just wants to clarify a few bits then route will be posted later.
see you next Sunday for more fun in the sun !

Here it is then.

A few naughty little climbs on this but the last 40 miles is easy. Do I hear a chorus of "heard that one before" ?

If anyone wants to do an easier alternative route that stays on the low lands, I can post one that will meet up at cafe.

To reiterate I shall meet you at Bradley Stoke as normal then take the van to the bridge to meet up with any starting from there also if any one is flagging on the way back to assist in getting them back.

Hi Claire,
Here is an alternative. Still a bit of climbing but it's steady and no "cliffs".

http://ridewithgps.com/routes/5020115

Starts with main ride. Splits at 10.5 miles on Wye Link Path. Rejoins main route at 19.4 miles at St Bride's Road.
Regroup at cafe and return together.

I'm sure a few more would like to keep you company on this one.

Just ride up the hills! It's the only way you'll get better and doing so.

Hi Robin. We'll all be leaving from Bradley Stoke just after 10.00. Scott will drive to the bridge in the broom wagon, park up, get his bike out and wait for the main bunch to arrive at roughly 10.25. Hope this helps.
