When we get to Mile 27 you have the choise of either going up Crawley Hill, or going straight over and up Lampern.

If you turn left up Crawley the just go straight onpast the view point ans the Gloucester and Bristol Airfield is a bi tfuther along on your right.
If you choose to go up Lampern then keep going to the main road turn LEFT follow this to the main road cross roads turn right and then past the view point and the Tea stop is a bit along on your right

I'll join you as you swing past Hardy Lane, near the Swan pub on Lower Tockington Road.

Any idea what sort of time you'll get to that point?

I reckon 10:15's probably spot-on.

It'll take us about 15 minutes to get to Tockington so we'll sweep through at about 10.15 hrs

Sigh.......fresh legs will mean a higher initial average speed, say 16mph. Tockington is about 4 miles from Bradley Stoke, therefore it will take 4/(16/60) mins = 15 minutes. Wind has not been taken into consideration.

The only occasion when I have the same time as PJ is if I rode a tandem with him. This guy is a machine!
