Looks a good route there Scott. Hope to join you at the back, best have a tune ready for Frocester as I've only done it once and somebody had to sing to me to distract me from the continous hill!!!

As to singing That all depends on whether there is any oxygen left after you lot have stolen it!
Com on AndyW Stela Robin et all lets see who can be the slowest sod all this fastest up the hill .
I have banned Jo so you will be quite safe  Very Happy (She will be so far in front she will have no influence over us mere mortals.)

That hill! Well I'll be coming along this Sunday and will give it my all. I've been trying to get some more riding done in between these Sunday rides. I decided to cycle to work on Tuesday (Bristol to Gloucester and back) in the baking heat. That hill will be my test!

Distance 2.1km
Avg Grade 9.0%
Elev Difference 185m
Elev Gain 220m

Frocester hill is a great climb, you ascend nearly 200 metres in 2.2km. The gradient starts off at 3% from the village of Frocester and then reaches a fairly steady 10% all the way to the top. It’s very nice to climb and is a good test.

You will notice that I dont show in the top ten I am much to modest to post MY times on Straval

I've been up it...32 times as it's probably the best & closest hill to train on!  If I can do it, so can everyone else.

The hardest bit is at the first bend (I almost grind to a halt) but after that it's quite manageable & enjoyable especially since the road is very smooth (it was last time I was there anyway).

I have to say be wary of cars approaching from behind - I've had some impatient folk speeding up there and they either pass me with inches to spare and/or risk a head-on collision, but I'm an expert at attracting this sort of thing. As I'm a caring bloke, that'll be my reason for staying back and letting you guys go on ahead :-) See you Sunday!
