Hi Scott, its been a while since I've been out with you. I am planning to join you this Sunday.

I doubt no one will recognise me,I'll be on a black/blue Felt bike.

Just so you know.

Cheers Rob.

PostSubject: Cake Route Clarification   Sat Aug 02, 2014 12:16 am

Hi Rob. To make sure we recognise you, wear a red carnation in yer helmet !

Scott wont be there this Sunday, he claims he has to work, so I have the honour of being Ride Leader. I've taken the opportunity to tidy-up the route and at the same time add the "cake loop" that most of us do on "Pavlova" rides now. Without this "cake loop" we arrive at Hill too early, even when cycling at a relaxed pace.
Yer tiz (Cake Ride 2 - No Mumbleys) http://ridewithgps.com/routes/5500498

When we've had enough cake and it's time to go, I wont be returning directly to Bradley Stoke. I'll be heading off toward Tintern to burn off a few more calories. I'll be doing this route http://ridewithgps.com/routes/5479879
Total mileage out from and back to Bradley Stoke, including cakes at Hill will be in the region of 62 miles, a mere 21 miles more than the Cake Ride. If anybody would like to accompany me you will be most welcome.

Hi. Haven't been out with the club for a few weeks but count me in for tomorrow. I'll be bringing my fiancé along too for her first ride with the club.

Scott, I'm fairly likely to be creeping around at the back of the group after doing a century today so I can try to keep an eye on newer/less confident people.
