New cafe to try out and after all the climbing up to Wentwood Forest and the stunning views you will need a Bacon and egg sarnie and mug of tea I can tell you.John Phil and I tried this out last week and I know it only comes in at just over 42 miles but there is 3000 ft of long climbing so be aware of that.

Have a look at the route and the elevation and it will give you a pretty good idea of what we are riding.

Some of you who fancy this but want to save a bit of energy can start from the bridge, parking in Passage road or even just riding straight to the bridge and meeting us there.
If the weather is nice the views across the estuary and beyond make this ride worth it for that alone. If you haven't ridden over that way before then come along you will love it.
See you all next week
Love and kisses

I'm thinking of adding a few miles in when we get back across the bridge if anyone fancies it. Probably out to Berkley or even Slimbridge then back via Tortworth and Cromhall, total of around 80 miles I would think. We can possibly add in another coffee stop if needed.

I know it's Mothering Sunday but my Mother will be in St Lucia so it's of no interest to me!

I'll be pottering around Silverstone race track on two (tired) legs for 13.1 miles so won't be able to join you this weekend. Marathon training leaves no time for fun!!!

I'd be ready at the bridge for 10:20 but usually more like 10:30 before they get there.

Weather seems to be improving up to 8-9 c plus the wind is an Easterly so should make it a bit easier on the way out.
