I will lead the "Cake ride" for the slower group, may do the loop to add some extra miles (depending on time).
Usual route out to Hill via the Severn estuary, return Morton way Tytherington.

See you Sunday for plenty of quality cake. Very Happy

Route (more or less) https://ridewithgps.com/routes/4353054

Scott your ears must have been burning, we were talking on Sunday, saying we wondered if we would see "BS3" before too long.

Can't make this one as it's my mum's birthday.

I may be able to make the 2nd if we are going out on the bank holiday.

First ride out on the new hand crafted Filament today. WOW!coming from an Audax hand built steely weighing in at about 18kilos to a full on hand built carbon weighing about 9 kilos is a big jump.

What's it like to ride? And how is the hill climbing on it compared to your old one?

Rides like a dream hills are still horrible but seem a bit easier .And i think I was right going for the 32 sprocket. As i get better i might be able to drop to the 28 but the 32 is good on over 8%

Hill are never nice but a necessary evil when you want to see the view.

I have no pride, I'll stick with 32. I think it will be some time before I consider going back to 28.
