Ride leader required, no experience necessary. Routes can be provided. Must have own bicycle.

You don't need a Garmin as others will have the route on their device and will assist. You don't need to be a super-fit fast rider as you can lead just as well from the rear as from the front.

I was going to join Scott's celebration ride to Wotton but if no one else steps up I'll give it a go. We could go to Wotton too, with a different route, to join Scott at the pub.

Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14400523

We'll be heading to Bradford-on-Avon via Pucklechurch & Biddestone where we'll stop at the Lock Inn Café. On the way back we'll do something a bit different and go through the Two Tunnels and up the cycle track for a bit. To be more imaginative I'm planning to exit at Bitton and head up through Siston and Winterbourne.

At about 59 miles, this is slightly longer than our usual Sunday rides but this should not put anyone off. As usual no one will be left behind and we have the option of making 2 groups depending on ability and I am more than happy to look after a slower group if need be. Either way I expect we will easily stay together after the food stop.

RWGPS has overestimated the elevation by about 400ft as it has added a hill which we are going under.

Depart @ 10am Sunday from Costa Bradley Stoke. See you there!

Excellent ! Jeff, as RichT has offerred to lead, you can go on Scott's celebration ride to Wotton.

RichT, you decide what the route is going to be, that's the prerogative of the Ride Leader  king

Thanks guys.

Thanks Gary for being decisive Smile

I'll scan over my route and will edit my post above to avoid any confusion. Any volunteers to look after the back?

Rich we are looking at the Two tunnels in a couple of weeks . I understand there is a little cafe if you carry on from the end of the tunnels (ie the pub) for about 1.5 miles that does food etc.

Ahh thanks but Jeff has actually offered to look after the back (thanks Jeff). You can join him, or if you like you can take flight on the inclines and help make sure everyone waits for others periodically Smile

Rich Taylor also owes me a lunch!
