Good news: Richard (Bike Richard) will be your Ride Leader this Sunday   Very Happy
Bad news: Richard likes hills  Crying or Very sad

This is our mission: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/15379590  and it's a bit of a hill fest taking in Wotton Hill (1.5 miles long, 485 ft ascent, 6% avg, 11.6 % max), the Ladder, Nailsworth (1 mile long, 396 ft ascent, 8.3% avg, 11.1% max) swiftly followed by 'son of Selsley', Selsley Road from mile 27.3 to 28.1 (0.8 mile long, 394 ft ascent, 7.7% avg, 12.8% max), and all before we stop for lunch at Wotton.  Cripes !

I estimate those that survive will arrive at Wotton in an ambulance at about 1.15 - 1.30 pm.

The route isn't as bad as I'm making out though. It's 56.5 miles in total with 3,472 ft of climbing, compare this with last Sunday's ride which was 52.6 miles long with 3,859 ft of climbing !

See y'all Sunday.

Oh what the hell ! Richard I hope you don't mind but since the Pros are going up Selsley Hill I've rerouted the ride to take it in. This does add a couple of miles to the overall distance (it's now 58.2 miles) but on the plus side you do get a couple of miles more to recover after doing The Ladder, oh yes and 390 ft more climbing.

For the sake of good order, Selsley Hill stats: 1 mile long, 416 ft ascent, 7.8% avg, 10.8% max.
