This is the route that I planned for Sunday (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/19027093) as I have not done much riding around there I've tried to combine a couple of routes we've done before. If anyone that knows the area sees that I've done some mistakes let me know and I'll update this.

Indeed, NBCC 19/2 i.e. the first four letters indicating the group of cyclist and the second implying our speed of 19mph average and the last digit showing how we ride, two abreast ;-)

Fancy missing that lovely climb out of Castle combe!
Not my ride but there is an AWFUL lot of main road on that route Karl Km 9 to 18 can be very dodgy as can 44 to 54 plus you have missed the cafe

Thanks for the comments, with Garry's help the route have now been updated and the name has also changed, so thankfully no more 19mph ;-)

See you tomorrow.

Phew ! Good man Carl. With tomorrow's westerly breeze behind us and Carl in front we should fly along the section from Tormarton to Luckington , speed isn't everything of course Very Happy

Folly Farm cafe comes after mile 38 / 1,820 ft of climbs for the Main ride and mile 36 / 1,770 ft of climbs for the Alternative ride so the Main gang should get to the cafe well ahead of the Alt gang, a 15 minute "handicap" for the Main gang would however make things quite interesting.
