Darren is sorting out a nice little gentle ride to Yatton cafe on the Strawberry line.
Starting out from LONG ASHTON
at the bottom entrance by the arch.near the park and ride.

I believe your sanity is safe Steve :-)

Should be 4/12/11

As this is very well known route for me ... I'll be doing back door duties :-)

Sounds good to me. Should we phone the orders ahead as they can take their time at the cafe. Having said that whilst I'm waiting for my bacon butty I can always hurl some abuse to Stevo as he missed out last weekend!

Sounds good to me as I have a fairly heavy weekend starting on Friday night with the first of the Christmas parties!

Here's the route for Sunday's ride. It is a gentle 27 miler, with only one "lump" to speak of.

"I know those last couple of hills :-)"
They are merely ripples, plus after all the cake, you'll be full of energy.

What time chocks away from Ashton Court, 10am ?
I (and hopefully Scott jnr) will cycle from Bradley Stoke to Ashton Court (via Gloucester Rd / Kellaway Ave / Linden Rd / Saville Rd / Ladies Mile / Clifton Down / Clifton Suspension Bridge / Ashton Court) and back. If anyone in the locale wants to tag along you're most welcome. Depending on energy level after taking in Darren's "ripples", I might have a go at Belmont Hill.

as I'm very en route (Kellaway ave.) ... I'll catch you as you "cruise" by
just slow a little at Kellaway Builders merchants :-)

If it's a 10 start - what time do you reckon on going along Kellaway ?

I'm up for meeting at Kellaway Avenue or on Gloucester Road by the Metro cafe. Would 9.15am work with getting us to Long Ashton?

If you could make your way up to Kellaway Builders Merchants on Kellaway Ave there's a good chance you'll bump into Jam. I reckon we'll be passing by at about 9.30.

I've allowed myself an hour which should be plenty to do the 11 miles to Ashton Court start so I'll be on the big roundabout by Aldi at 9am.
