How about this as a possible route for Saturday morning? If we are pushed for time we could head back at Rockhampton on TT it on the A38

I can join you on Saturday morning. I think Slimbridge and back inside 3 hours could be pushing it a bit though, but I'm game for a bit of team pursuiting if needs be.

Should be there to, not in a rush to get back though so will probably head off down the back roads if you end up TTing on the A38.

"pushin it a bit" is only goimg to slow you down. Better to stay on the bike all the way. Besides , those cleats make you walk funny!

Hi Scott, depends on timings as we may not make it to Slimbridge. Merlin needs to be back for midday.

Cheers guys for the ride and sorry I didn't say bye to all.

Made it back almost 1pm on the dot, although my legs are like jelly...

Yes, good ride and a quick one at that. 51miles for me with an average speed of 15.1mph. Feet up for a few hours I think.

It was great to see so many of you at Slimbridge this morning seems you had a good run home with the wind behind you.
Clifton9 it was brilliant ti see you back all fit and slim and tanned and according to Nick riding like the wind.Pity you aren't out tomorrow as underneath it all I do miss you. Ah....

Jarack if you can make a ride during the week days just post up there are quite often a few who will join in so don't go all Mark (shy) on us post away. One day you may be an endurance specialist!

Seems weather is going to be good and the turnout is looking good as well so plenty of people to draft.

Ditto all above. Nice ride up to Slimbridge and then a good "blast" back to B Stoke. Sorry didn't have the opportunity to wave bye bye to everyone. My avg speed was 15.9 mph, all thanks to trying to keep up with Martin Clifton 9 on the flat bits ! Good job there were a few hills to slow you down Martin. Also good to see you are free from the trotts Scott.
