It's looking increasingly like I won't be around on this coming Sunday so If anyone else wants to sort a route that they can lead then please step up.

Looks a good route to me - where's the proposed cafe stop (given that's the most important bit :p )? I'm not 100% myself yet though so don't really want to offer to lead it for now.

If you remember we stopped at a pub in Hullavington when we went that way last Did a nice cheesy chips and burger.Ask Alex!
Trouble is Nick I am not sure if anyone will be out that knows the route/has a Garmin.
I can lend mine to someone if they want to use though.

Scott I think you mean Luckington for the pub stop, the cheesy chips were very nice.
Im toying with the idea of riding on Sunday, although the doc said 10 days rest, so would be happy to lead if I'm up to it.

It's not a definite, but by Sunday it will be two and half weeks since I last rode, and I will have finished my course of meds, but if I am still not feeling great by then I will give it a miss,
just desperate to get out on the bike.

I'm currently nursing a very sore left knee as a result of trying to keep up with the young whippersnappers last Sunday but I should be recovered enough for this Sundays ride. I'm reasonably comfortable with the outward bit from Bradley Stoke as far as Little Sodbury and the return bit from Chipping Sodbury back to BS but I'm a little hazy on the bit inbetween. Nevertheless, if no-one else wants to lead, provided I can borrow a Garmin, I'll lead this Sunday !

So long as it's not belting down with rain and blowing a gale, I'll be out on Sunday and as I'm definitely not in the fast category you needn't worry about being left behind. As you can see from the map there are a smattering of hills on the route which will give your quads and lungs a good workout and if worse comes to worst, you can always get off and walk.

@ Claire. Try the Google Chrome browser, I find that MapMyride works better with it. In my experience, using Internet Explorer hardly seems to work with this particular site.

I would've Nick but Sunday is looking like it'll be a complete washout, current forecast is "heavy and persistent rain accompanied by gales" so unless there's some miraculous improvement by then I won't be coming out to play. Saturday on the other hand isnt looking too bad so Mark (Waggoner), you have a bike buddy on Saturday afternoon. Had you any time in mind ? High noon ? 1pm ?

lots of uncertainty ref this ride. Who's interested in doing this ride weather permitting? Given enough posts in the AFFIRMATIVE, I'll lead a gentle ride as long as it's not raining cats and dogs ....Hands up ladys and gentlemen?
