Roads are going to be wet at least (overnight and early am rain), possibly still drizzle about at the start and rain in the afternoon but I'll be there (driving down though) unless it's torrential rain/gusty winds...

both BBC and met office say "yuck" so I'm going to bale ,......

I could refit the cruds that will stop it raining!
Right off to find shoe covers and rain jacket.

Hmm the heavier rain is coming in South of where they reckoned yesterday so it's going to be right over us. I'll decide in an hour for sure but I'm going to bail if it gets worse than it is now (and it's just the leading edge atm).

Just spoken to Gary.. we're still ok for going.

It's going to brighten up later so me and Waggoner are cycling to the the start point. I spoke to Scott earlier, he's going to meet us there and then we'll decide whether to press on or give up.

I'm bailing, hopefully it does brighten up for anyone going but I don't fancy starting the ride soaking wet
